Manage your PanPlans account and data

Delete Your Account

If you wish to delete your PanPlans account, you can do so through the app or by contacting us.

Delete via App

  1. Open PanPlans on your device
  2. Go to Settings (tap the gear icon)
  3. Scroll down and tap 'Account'
  4. Tap 'Delete Account'
  5. Confirm your decision by entering your password
  6. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted

Delete via Email

Alternatively, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

privacy@panplans.app

Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your meal plans, pantry data, recipes, and settings will be permanently deleted.

Export Your Data

You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data. To request a data export:

  1. Open PanPlans on your device
  2. Go to Settings > Account > Export Data
  3. Select the data you want to export
  4. Tap 'Export' to receive your data

You can also request a data export by emailing:

privacy@panplans.app

Your data will be provided in a portable format (JSON/CSV) within 30 days of your request.

Help improve PanPlans by sharing anonymous usage data

Allow PanPlans to use your preferences for better meal suggestions

Notifications

Receive helpful reminders about meal planning and expiring ingredients

You can manage these settings in the app under Settings > Privacy.

Update Your Information

You can update your account information at any time:

  • Email address: Settings > Account > Email
  • Password: Settings > Account > Change Password
  • Profile information: Settings > Profile
  • Dietary preferences: Settings > Dietary Preferences
